Jay-B Bakes is a family business set up in 2013 by sisters Caroline and Janie, in loving memory of son and nephew Jason (Jay) and their mother Barbara (B) who tragically passed away within three weeks of each other at the end of 2012.

A year later, Caroline & Janie contacted their local councils and registered as Home Bakers, and Jay-B Bakes was born.
Our family has always thrived on hard work and lots of fun, and we want Jay-B Bakes to reflect that ethic.
We know that Mum and Jason would have loved being involved in the business - what fun we all would have had!

Jay died a week short of his 24th birthday, after a five year fight with bone cancer. His Nana died unexpectedly just three weeks earlier.
Both sisters were always accomplished Bakers, and used their skills for various fund raising events for cancer related charities such as Teenage Cancer Trust and MacMillan Nurses. Jay, a trained chef, and Barbara a deft persuader, joined in enthusiastically. Caroline & Janie's produce was extremely well received,giving rise to much speculation that they should take it up professionally.
